Chris and Sheila Bridge's garden has colour for twelve months of the year. Previously we’ve opened in July and September, with herbaceous highlights, but the garden is at its best in June. The Old Smithy is an intimate garden, of about half an acre, sloping down to a chalk stream and views of the Wolds. Designed by poet and novelist Chris, the garden has seasonal areas, vegetables, lawns, a compost site and a goldfish pond.
