Children’s Parties

We are delighted to offer children’s parties as part of our education programme, with a range of outdoor activities to give your child and their friends a birthday to remember. With acres of land to explore and two hour long activity sessions running from 10:30-12:30, followed by a picnic lunch, a unique birthday party is guaranteed.

We can cater for up to 20 children, and up to 6 adults accompanying the party will have free entry to the arboretum.

Though families often bring their own food and cake, packed lunches can be ordered from the cafe by prior arrangement. Party bags are available on request.

Parties are priced at £200 inc.VAT

Adventure Package

Two hours of adventurous fun in the arboretum, with a choice of two activities for your party:

Shelter Building or Orienteering

Work together and use your survival skills to construct your own woodland shelter, or test your navigational skills on our orienteering course as you find your way round the arboretum!

Minibeast Hunt or Pond Dipping

Investigate the many critters that call the arboretum home: Hunt for minibeasts and identify what you find before making your own habitat for them, or explore and identify the hidden creatures beneath our picturesque lake.

Fairy & Elf Package

Set off on a magical adventure with the Woodland Fairy or Woodland Elf, perfect for children aged 3-7. Find fairies and elves in the trees and search for ingredients for your magic wishing potion. Collect all the ingredients, learn about the trees, and use your magic wand to cast your potion under the wishing tree!
