Julian, a biologist from Devon and proprietor with his wife of the well-named micro-nursery Desirable Plants, discusses how flowers have evolved to their current diversity of form and colour, often very fast in response to changing pollinators – giving the wonderful range we so enjoy. The talk will be illustrated with reference to a multitude of interesting and (mostly) garden-worthy plants!  Plants will be for sale.
