The fourth in a series of seven tours, each of which explores a particular aspect of the life of trees.
This tour explores the world of conifers, trees that bear cones. They evolved hundreds of millions of years ago before the broad-leaved trees that we know better and often prefer, but looking today at the collection of all the conifers with their magnificent architecture and colour will change your view of them.
We'll meet in the cafe at 10:30am and then set out to walk at 11am.
