Wildflower Walks

  • Yorkshire Arboretum (map)

In recent years we’ve created large expanses of wildflower meadows to provide pollen and nectar for insects such as bumblebees, hoverflies, butterflies and moths. The meadows are glorious during spring and summer and, on sunny days, host clouds of butterflies. Explore these meadows on a guided walk with experts John Grimshaw and Alastair Fitter who will help identify what we find.

Walks depart from the Visitor Centre at 11am and 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday. No need to book. Just meet at the ticket desk and join in.
