This pretty sunken garden, at its best in spring, was established in Victorian times and has been in the care of Tim and Jackie Vines for the past twenty years. With an emphasis on alpine and small herbaceous plants, the Ceanothus trees in full bloom in early May are much admired by passers-by, as is the Abutilon tree on the side of the house.

Parking: Limited at the Village Hall (first turning on right on approaching Bulmer from the east) or on road.
