Discover the unique botanical signatures of the plants and trees around the arboretum with this one day workshop.

This year's artist-in-residence Sue Walsh will guide you through a sampling process using natural fabrics and real leaves from around the site to create ecoprinted pieces using different techniques.

Later in the day there will be an opportunity to learn how to make a silk scarf. Please wear closed toe shoes and bring your own rubber gloves. Fabrics, equipment, mordants and dyes will be provided.

The workshop will be delivered in the Peter Sowerby Building on-site at the Yorkshire Arboretum.
